Yellowstone Lower Loop Tour (April – October)
Our Yellowstone Lower Loop tour is the classic geyser-and-wildlife day most first-time visitors picture when they imagine Yellowstone. The route circles the southern half of the park from April through October and packs in the highest concentration of thermal features anywhere on Earth — the Upper, Midway and Lower Geyser Basins — plus the iconic eruption schedule of Old Faithful itself.
On a typical Old Faithful tour day, your guide times the eruption windows so you also have room to walk the Biscuit Basin and Black Sand Basin boardwalks, then continues north to the Fairy Falls overlook for the famous aerial-style view that makes a Grand Prismatic tour stop unforgettable. We pace the day so you're never crowd-fighting at the rail.
The Lower Loop also threads the Hayden Valley wildlife corridor, where bison herds, grizzly bears, coyotes and the occasional wolf pack hunt along the Yellowstone River. We finish at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone for the Lower Falls and Artist Point overlooks before returning to your pickup location by evening.

Yellowstone Upper Loop Wildlife Tour
The Yellowstone Upper Loop wildlife tour is the route serious wildlife watchers ask us for by name. The northern half of the park has the open valleys, dawn-to-dusk movement and predator activity you simply don't get on the geyser side — and our guides know exactly where the action has been in the last 48 hours from morning radio chatter and ranger reports.
Most days we're in Lamar Valley by sunrise, often called the Serengeti of North America. This is the heart of any Yellowstone wolf tour: the Junction Butte and Rescue Creek packs hunt here, alongside grizzly and black bears, bald eagles, pronghorn and one of the largest free-ranging bison herds in the country. Bring a layer — the valley runs cold even in July.
Heading west, the tour stops at Tower Falls for the 132-foot drop into the Yellowstone River, then continues to the Mammoth Hot Springs tour highlight: the travertine terraces, Liberty Cap and the elk herds that wander the historic Fort Yellowstone parade grounds. A great loop for photographers, families and anyone who wants the quieter side of the park.

Private Yellowstone Tours are NON-REFUNDABLE if cancelled inside 14 days of travel date/time. Cancellation outside 14 days of travel date/time will be a 10% cancellation fee. Payment is required at the time of booking.
